The mission of the Phlebotomy and Courier Services department at Princeton biomedical laboratories is to provide the highest quality specimen collection services. We take pride in making our patients feel as comfortable as possible.
Based on your request, BioMedDx will personalize and schedule your "routine" phlebotomy draws and dispatch phlebotomists to collect your "stat" specimens. In addition, BioMedDx also offers a courier service in conjunction with its phlebotomy service to deliver stat and routine.
Service delivery and resource team
Our phlebotomy service is managed from our head office in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and our local staff provides services in nursing homes, community clinics, GP practices, occupational health services and in patients own homes.
The service is co-ordinated by a full-time member of staff who is responsible for managing staff rostering, customer care and day-to-day issues arising from service delivery.
We have trained phlebotomists who are recruited locally in the area in which they work We train and test our employees in all aspects of phlebotomy including the OSHA blood-borne pathogens standards, patients' rights, confidentiality, and fire safety procedure..
